Vice President - Emma Mañalac

Hi, everyone! My name is Emma Mañalac, and it is with great excitement that I will be serving as Chi Omega Pi’s Vice President for this year. I am originally from Knoxville, TN, so coming here for college was a no-brainer! Regarding academics, I am currently studying Neuroscience and minoring in Business Administration on a pre-medicine track. After college, my dream is to attend medical school-specializing in neurology. On top of Chi O, I am also a member of the Student Alumni Associates (SAA), BOSS dance company, Clinic Vols, the Senior Impact Council, and Advancement of Neuroscience. Together, I am able to pursue all of my passions at UTK but nothing compares to Chi Omega. 

I rushed Chi O as a freshman, and since then, my life has changed for the better. We all know that there is something so special here in Chi O. We are a group of women that are united in purpose and have a love that breaks all boundaries. As the vice president, my goal is to work alongside the rest of the executive board and continue this tradition of excellence. For my duties, I oversee our academics, scholarship incentives, and programming. I also lead the scholarship board and encourage the chapter to uphold our longstanding tradition of top GPA, which Pi chapter has held for the previous 8 semesters. 

Pi has gifted me with some of my most treasured memories and friendships that I will hold onto for a lifetime. It is my wish that every young woman gets to experience such a thing like I have found in Chi Omega.
